After a long day in the office and dealing with the countless tasks that build throughout the day, all you really want to do when you get home is relax and eagerly await face planting in your 500 count Egyptian cotton mattress. We all know the value of getting a glorious night of sleep, you feel calm and refreshed the next day. Scientists also believe that sleep is beneficial for your overall health too, especially your heart. Remember that the amount of sleep you require changes as you age. The amount of sleep required for a normal adult is about eight hours per night.

While that may seem like an excess of time or too little, doctors have able to correlate sleep deprivation to increases in blood pressure, increases in the release of stress hormones and other conditions that lead to coronary disease. In the long run, prolonged sleep deprivation leads to an increase in Lbs and diabetes.

Luckily, the best way to fight these risks are to just get more sleep, along with healthy diet and exercises practices. 30 minute naps throughout the week can provide as healthy refreshments to your overall system. Most important to remember if you are having trouble sleeping or going to sleep, is to make your bedroom a slumber’s paradise.
