What is Microneedling?
Microneedling is a simple, minimally invasive treatment that stimulates your body’s natural healing process to revitalize your skin. There are several microneedling devices and techniques used. They all involve using tiny, sterilized needles to cause micro-injuries or microchannels in the skin.
Your body reacts to the micro-injuries by triggering your skin’s healing process. This causes collagen and elastin production to increase and dead cells to be cleared away, revealing fresh, new skin with fewer imperfections.
Microneedling has been a popular treatment for decades and is safe and effective for all skin types and tones. Microneedling is most commonly used on the face but can also treat several areas of the body like the hands, chest, neck, and more. Additionally, collagen induction therapy can boost the effectiveness of your skincare products, as it allows your skin to absorb the ingredients better.
